The Borsellino Affair

Author: Alfio Caruso

Paolo Borsellino was murdered by the Mafia 17 years ago, but his massacre has led to a series of unanswered questions: Who ordered the murder? Who is threatened by the investigations into the connection between Cosa Nostra and powerful businessmen? Who has the most interest in maintaining a relationship between the State and the Mafia? What happened to Borsellino’s red notebook that disappeared the day of the attack? Alfio Caruso attempts to answer these questions in his reconstruction of true events. Only one thing is certain: Borsellino was betrayed by someone that he knew well and trusted. At the time of his death, Borsellino had become an obstacle to be destroyed by all parties seeking a new and easy relationship between the Mafia and the State. This book will tell you how and why.
